The Popbüro Region Stuttgart promotes pop culture and musicians, bands, and music entrepreneurs. It combines business development with cultural and youth development, and educational offers and is thus able to implement highly differentiated specialized programs for musicians and the music business. Popbüro’s focus is on providing support and individual advice on all music- and industry-specific issues, arranging performance opportunities, awarding promotional prizes, and organizing competitions for young talent.
In cooperation with industry experts and musicians, the Popbüro offers workshops and seminars on topics such as business start-ups, sound engineering, copyright or distribution. It also helps with the search for rehearsal rooms and commercial properties that can be used as recording studios or event locations.
The Popbüro Region Stuttgart is an institution of the Wirtschaftsförderung Region Stuttgart GmbH (WRS) and the Stuttgarter Jugendhaus gGmbH with the support of the state capital Stuttgart (Department of Culture, Economic and Employment Promotion). It works closely with the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg.
